Project description
In July 2017, Churches of Christ in Queensland issued a $5 million social impact bond, commissioned by the Queensland Government, to support 300 young people exiting statutory care to build resilience and reduce their risk of homelessness.
Social Outcomes has acted as the intermediary and led the design of the impact measurement framework, the development of the commercial structure and worked with Westpac to raise the $5 million required. The bond issue closed at the end of September 2017, and if you are interested to find out more about the commercial structure, please refer to the Term Sheet.
Since then, we have released two annual reports outlining the progress of the program and Social Outcomes continues to act as the Registrar, protecting the interests of the investors and managing all the communications with them.
